Dear Friends,

Over the past 18 months, I have spent a great deal of time working to develop an organization that showcases the best visual, culinary and musical artists Indianapolis has to offer, while helping to build a new audience for the entire arts community. Through the events of the Circle City Chamber Group, our guests have enjoyed the opportunity to explore beautiful artwork, savor gourmet food and top-shelf drinks, experience outstanding music performances, and actually meet and talk with all these amazing artists about their work and passion.

Since August 2008, CCCG has hosted four different concert events highlighting a number of very talented people, including:

  • Painters Kyle Ragsdale & Julie Cifuentes; photographers Joslyn Virgin and Michelle Pemberton; and painter, sculptor, and custom jewelry designer Tim Haggard
  • The catering services and beautiful venues of the Omni-Severin, Canterbury, and Westin hotels, and the Terrace at Market Tower banquet hall
  • Musical soloists soprano Elizabeth Wilson, mezzo-soprano Lexa Ferrill, and pianist Cha Young Park
  • The musicians of the CCCG Chamber Orchestra Strings, Wind Septet, and Saxophone Quartet
  • Premiere performances of new works by such noted composers as Daniel Powers ("Between Spring and Summer"; Indianapolis premiere) and Aaron Krerowicz ("Woods"; world premiere)

While coordinating these events, we've also recruited some wonderful volunteers to join the ranks of the CCCG staff, such as Artists Guild Coordinator Julie Cifuentes, Event Planner Audrey Downs, and Online Networking Coordinator Ricky Lee Potts.  In addition to this, we are heading into the final stages of our search for a full-time Executive Director!  Following the success of our inaugural season, we are excited to look ahead to 2010 as a year of expanded venues, artists, chefs, new compositions and collaborations.  We also look forward to the introduction of an academic outreach program by which we will take the CCCG artists and musicians into local elementary schools.

Since I began my life in music, I have always had my family and friends to cheer me on, and I'm proud to say that has never changed. Your enthusiasm and encouragement for my work in Chicago, Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Kiev, and DC, has become the force behind each and every personal success.  I now ask and hope that you will continue to support my work through the Circle City Chamber Group with a financial contribution to its fundraising campaign.

Since the CCCG is now a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, every donation is fully tax deductible, and will go towards expenses such as venue rentals, program printing, rental fees for music and equipment, as well as defray the various administrative costs needed to ensure a successful future.  Your contribution will help us continue to develop this groundbreaking organization, and its ongoing work of creating new arts experiences for our growing audiences.

On behalf of the entire Circle City Chamber Group, its staff and artists - and most especially on behalf of myself - I thank you for your thoughtful consideration, and ongoing support for the arts.

With best wishes and warmest regards,
Andrew Lyon
