Indy BANG! stands for Indianapolis (Indy) Business and Arts Networking Get-togethers. The project aims to develop a small business and arts collaborative 501(c)(3) umbrella organization that can be easily replicated by business and arts groups in other areas of the state or the nation as subordinate organizations. The BANG! concept centers around linking business professionals with arts & culture professionals at the personal level through educational and promotional activities such as luncheons, salons, lectures, conferences, hands-on training programs, social networking, tradeshows and an online web portal to member organization web sites as well as online archived video and A/V podcasts of speakers and online fund-raising for nonprofit organizations. Indy BANG! is the first subordinate of BANG! and will serve as the model for other BANG!s.
